Namaste! From Nepal,

I have been thinking a lot about Vedic Sanatan Tantra, and I feel a strong curiosity and eagerness to start learning and exploring it. Although my English is not very strong, I hope you can understand my intentions. I believe that anyone can begin their spiritual journey at any time, and with this belief, I am ready to take my first step, starting from the beginning. My goal is to approach this path with dedication and sincerity, learning at my own pace and effectively. I identify as a Hindu, but I have not yet fully practiced or embraced my Sanatan cultural heritage. Now, at the age of 40, I feel a strong desire to reconnect with and explore my cultural and spiritual roots. I am looking for guidance on where to begin, including suitable reading materials and techniques that will help me understand Vedic Sanatan Tantra.

From my understanding, Tantraloka and Tantrasara focus on the systematic framework of Tantra, encompassing rituals and philosophies, while Vijnana Bhairava emphasizes meditative techniques for direct self-realization. I am particularly drawn to Tantraloka and Tantrasara because they provide a structured approach to understanding Tantra through its rituals and philosophies.

That said, I believe there is no single path to understanding the vast tradition of Tantra. Each text offers unique insights, and exploring them together can lead to a deeper, holistic understanding. For me, the ritualistic aspects, often associated with what I refer to as Vedic Sanatan Tantra (though this term might not fully capture it), are particularly significant, and I aim to integrate them with meditative practices for a balanced perspective.
