Namaskaram to fellow sadhaka,

I am from Gujarat India and have been following Acharya ji for last few years. In our region there is a big surge of Devi "Meldi ma" who's if I am not wrong associated with Kali. Our kuladevi is Bhramani ma. But recently Meldi ma has also been introduced in our kula. In our kula people are just worshipping all shorts of devis and devatas but when asked no one is able to explain the significance of them. I would really appreciate if anyone could help or be able to throw some light on that.
