Prana and Sukshma prana

The tantric prana system is sukshma , and Susruta, Charaka worked on little more physical aspect. Acharjyaji told it in discussion, but subtly. The pure chit(as if gold) expresses itself as prana (gold ornament). So in the process of pure chit to gross prana there are many stages. But undoubtedly, same sukshma prana ( also reffered as Mukhya prana ) manifests as sthula(gross) prana and works not only through inhaling -exhaling- but also carries out all bodily functions in different forms as prana, apana, samana, udana and all pervading vyana (in physical aspect).

I think my understanding of prana- rather sukshma prana is correct.

There indeed are many aspects to prāṇa: i. prāṇa is the breath, ii. prāṇa is the vitality that keeps us alive, the pulsation of our heart that makes oxygenation possible, but iii. prāṇa is also the meeting ground of the body and the mind, prāṇa is the first ripple of consciousness (prāk saṃvit prāṇe pariṇatā). So, we need to pay attention to what aspect of prāṇa we are referring to, and differences will be clear.
