Personal Mantra?

Does anyone here chant their own mantra? I ran upon this term Nakshatra. Apparently it is some sort of energy that is connected with a certain celestial group depending on your birth chart. Mine came up as Om Da Namah!(All of them are Om__Namah) I might give it a whirl unless someone who knows says ixnay on the antrama!

Sai, If you had read the whole post, maybe you would understand a little better. Carla Yoga was the first place I find to find my Nakshatra and Pada. The personal Mantra comes from the book I referenced written by a Sri Vidya Guru. I would think, a Guru, from which ever path you take has the right and authority to give mantras. She didn't just invent this idea, it has been around for ages. The idea that you throw out there that it wasn't given due process is a tad preposterous. To be honest, your message wasn't that helpful. You completely disregarded a practice which I don't believe you practice. While I will agree, mantras given by Acharyaji should be used at the right time and in the right way. I fail to accept that mantras from other paths should not be used. If they contradict what Acharyaji says, then absolutely. If they do not, and they do not require initiation, I honestly cannot see the harm and have found nor read any reason in the 6+ classes I have taken from Acharyaji that I shouldn't.
