I'm wondering if anyone can provide clarity on the visualization going clockwise around the circle of petals. Is it clockwise from within the body, almost as if the circle was in front of me and I'm looking at it from behind. Or should I imagine as clockwise facing outward, as though someone is looking at one of my chakras?

Regarding the base chakra, is the orientation of that circle different? I've been visualizing it as though it's lying flat on the ground for some reason. Now that I'm saying it here, it seems obvious that it should be the same as the other circles, but I'd like to confirm.
