Greetings,

My name is Babin Shrestha. I was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, and currently reside in Brooklyn, NY. My field of study is Finance and have been aspiring to get my foot set within the finance domain.

I grew up in a religious family and have been a religious person myself even as a kid. The impression of my grandfather has instilled in me a great thirst to know and become more familiar with my heritage. Growing up, I have fond memories of stories of great Tantrikas from Kathmandu valley like Sashwat Bajra, Bandhudatta, and Jamana Guvaju, and their adventures in the mystical dimensions. I was also very intrigued by the practices, cultures, and traditions of Kathmandu. Besides this, I have tread upon different philosophies of the east as well as the west.

I first came across Acharya Timalsina in a youtube video and came across him again in a Nepalese Sarmanaya Facebook Group. Later on, I took part in the Devi Mahatmya course offered by Vimarsha.
