Forum Introduction and Guidelines
Greetings and welcome to the Vimarsha Foundation Discussion Forum.
Our forum is dedicated to the advancement of Śāstric knowledge and practice of the Dharma traditions in support of the ideals of the Vimarsha Foundation. We aim to create a place for discussion that is welcoming to both laypersons and scholars as well as useful to practioners. All are welcome to participate regardless of nationality, race, ethnicity, gender or sexual identity, philosophical background, credal affiliation, or level of experience. The Vimarsha Foundation welcomes all of you.
Please observe the following guidelines when posting within the forum and contributing to discussions:
Begin by introducing yourself in the Personal Introductions section. We hope to connect with you on a personal level.
Maintain a high standard of courtesy and respectfulness in your communications. This reflects the dignity of the subjects under consideration.
Refrain from political discussions and any form of discrimination. The former is divisive and the latter is unwelcome.
Feel free to ask questions. This is also a learning platform and everyone benefits from even the most basic of inquiries.
You may contribute to an existing discussion or create a new post within any category. If you are not sure where to put something you may submit your post to the General Discussion section and one of our moderators will move it to the correct area as needed.
Thank you for joining us and we look forward to engaging in fruitful dialogue with you.
