My name is Mary. I'm from the United States. I've been on my spiritual path for many years, doing my own thing, following where I feel called to and adapting as I feel needed. My journey to the Vimarsha Foundation has been different in a sense. I had been yearning for something more and had a profound meditative/journeying experience where I saw and felt two distinct energies that were something I had never experienced before. I had no clue who/what they were so I researched. I found Shiva and Shakhti and then I researched more as I had no prior knowledge or experience with the Hindu faith. I kept being drawn to Kashmir Shaivism and the strong Shakhti energy. I kept seeing this foundation and for some reason passed it by multiple times. That is until it kept popping up during meditations, research, and internal dialog.

Please bare with me as I am in the beginning stages with my knowledge base. I am reading and researching and have much appreciation for the information found within the foundation and the forum here. I am through the introductory course, practicing daily, and have started on the foundational course with plans to continue.
